As Christmas gets closer and closer many will look for stores that are open late on Christmas Eve in 2011. For those living in the state of Florida there are options available to shop late but they are usually at pharmacies. Those living in Miami, Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa may want to look at CVS or Walgreens to do some late night Christmas Eve shopping.
On Christmas Eve 2011 most major retailers will close around 6:00 pm or 7:00 pm. If you are hoping to shop at WalMart, Target, HHGregg, Bealls, Kohls, Best Buy or other stand alone retailers then you will likely find that their doors clothes around dinner time. Most department stores, including JCPenney, Belks, Dillards, Macys and Montgomery Ward will also close with malls which tends to be quite early.
With this being true it might be smart to look at other options. If you need to pick up some last minute items then it will likely be the case that you have to head to Walgreens or CVS. Many Walgreens locations throughout the state of Florida are open 24 hours. That means that these stores will never close and you have the opportunity to shop all night through Christmas Eve and into Christmas Day. There are also some CVS locations with this option as well.
For those locations that are not 24 hours customers will find that the stores close at midnight on Christmas Eve. It is also the case that they will be open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Christmas Day. Some will get a chance to lock in to some of those early after Christmas sales during late Christmas day shopping at these specific pharmacy retailers.
